Local community presentations on a variety of subjects are offered at little or no cost.

  Depending on distance some travel expenses maybe requested.  


 Charles Kinney, PhD

  A certified member of the IMDHA since 1994 and an acknowledge Instructor of Hypnotherapy. His career with the Michigan Department of Correction’s most violent offenders provided vast training and experience in abnormal psychology, and is recognized for it’s excellence in the field of Hypnosis Education. He has specialty certifications in Addiction Hypnotherapy, Hypnoanesthesia, Spirit Releasement Therapy, Fibromyalgia & CFS Therapy and Neurolearning Therapy.   He is known throughout northeastern Michigan’s medical and dental community as a complementary provider and hypnosis teacher. His work and research with incest survivors and those abused   physically, emotionally, mentally or sexually has helped untold numbers find total healing and recovery from past violence.

Currently licensed with the State of Michigan Board of Nursing, a certified member of The International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association, The National Guild of Hypnotists, The American Board of Hypnotherapy, The International Association of Counselors and Therapists, The National Board for Hypnotherapy and Hypnotic Anesthesiology, American Board of Psychosomatic Counseling Association and The Society of Psycho-Linguistics. He as been acknowledged as a Hypnotherapy Instructor since 1995. He opened his first State Licensed School   (Discovery   Institute) in 1998. After his retirement in 2001 he and his wife Emma chose the Oscoda area on beautiful Lake Huron to continue the work, and research they both came to love. In 2008 the practice was moved to Cadillac, Michigan and Michigan Hypnotherapy Institute was opened.  

 

Chuck is a hands on Instructor, he will build your confidence from the first day as you learn to use hypnosis. Chuck is a Spiritual Teacher as well. You’ll learn how his insight into the spiritual realm applies   to hypnotherapy and all of life. He has over a decade of hypnotherapy experience with hundreds of hours with his clients in analytical therapy. You will gain confidence as you practice with others and see immediate change. You will improve your ability to communicate with others. You will discover how to program your own mind in all areas of your life. You will learn the art of suggestion and how to use it effectively. You will learn techniques once taught by the Master’s of Hypnosis.  

 

Chuck no longer operates a state licensed school, however he is available to discuss your training options, he gives hypnosis presentations to small groups of medical and dental professionals, religious organizations, alternative health groups, schools and other enrichment training.
